Group Exercise
Group Exercise

Peak has certified and experience instructors to help you get and stay in shape. All fitness levels are welcomed and taken into consideration so all can participate. Group fitness classes are included with your membership with no sign-ups necessary. Stay in great shape with the wide variety of classes and times available at Peak.

Tae Kwon Do
Tae Kwon Do

Class Times:
 • Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday - 5:30 pm - 7:30pm

Class Breakdowns:
 •  5:30 - 6:10pm - Tuesday is blue belt and up, Wednesday & Friday is for all ages & belt levels
 •  6:10 - 6:50pm - Tuesday & Friday is for all ages and belt levels, Wednesday is for blue belt and up
 •  6:50 - 7:30pm - Tuesday & Wednesday is for all ages & belt levels, Friday is for Kumdo sword art

*All classes are taught by Korean Master Yong Shik Kim, a 5th degree black belt under World TaeKwonDo Federation (WTF) with twenty-five plus years of experience. Interested in more information please refer to www.kimstkdojang.com.

Peak Running Crew

The secrets out! Peak Sports Club has a class devoted entirely to the art of running.

We begin with 20-minutes of Core Fitness, 10-minutes of Yoga and generally about a one hour running workout. Portions of the workout are very slow, with periods of time devoted to training our muscle fibers to get up and go, which includes medium to fast paced intervals. Once you begin running with the Running Crew, you will find yourself included into one of the many pods of ability based running groupings. As a training group, the runners who run week after week with the Running Crew work very hard to make sure everyone feels included and a part of this very diverse group of individuals.

Regardless of your running history or lack there of, consider running along with Running Crew during one of our training sessions on Tuesdays. We begin at 5:00-5:30 pm for Core Fitness and Yoga. The workout is explained at 5:35 pm and we generally leave the building at 5:45 pm and return just about 7:00 pm.

Ron has been coaching runners for the past 14 years. He has taken up the sport after college and has run a dozen marathons, both road and trail. Ron has recently started training and racing sprint triathlons. Sport involves both the physical as well as mental aspects of training. Ron feels strongly that we train and prepare ourselves equally in both areas.

Our group fitness-to-music classes are delivering the results people want and are changing lives. Great music and passionate instructors inspire exhilarating workouts that more and more club members are making part of their regular fitness program. Les Mills™ classes currently being offered are:

BODYJAM™ is the cardio workout where you are free to enjoy the sensation of dance. An addictive fusion of the latest dance styles and hottest new sounds puts the emphasis as much on having fun as on breaking a sweat. Our instructors will teach you to move with attitude through this class - all you need is basic rhythm and coordination and a love of dance. BODYPUMP™ is the original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for - and fast! Now available at both Peak locations!

BODYATTACK™ is the sports-inspired cardio workout for building strength and stamina. This high-energy interval training class combines athletic aerobic movements with strength and stabilization exercises. Dynamic instructors and powerful music motivate everyone towards their fitness goals - from the weekend athlete to the hard-core competitor!

BODYVIVE™ is the low-impact group fitness workout that lets you choose just how hard you work. Using the VIVE™ balls, VIVE™ tubes and optional hand weights you’re talked step-by-step through the entire class by a skilled instructor, while listening to uplifting and inspiring music. Best of all, you finish feeling thoroughly rejuvenated – and fizzing with energy.

BODYCOMBAT™ is a non-combat, martial arts-based fitness program with moves drawn from Karate, Tae Kwan Do, Kung Fu, kickboxing, Muay Thai and Tai Chi. Each BODYCOMBAT™ class is choreographed to tracks of the latest music, providing an exhilarating exercise experience that delivers ultra-fast fitness results.

BODYFLOW™ is the Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centered and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance. Like all the LES MILLS™ programs, a new BODYFLOW™ class is released every three months with new music and choreography.

RPM™ is an indoor cycling workout where you ride to the rhythm of powerful music. You take on the terrain with your inspiring team coach who leads the pack through hills, flats, mountain peaks, time trials, and interval training. Discover your athlete within!

Born to Move™ is a series of movement-based classes for young people creating positive physical habits they will keep for the rest of their lives. Let's keep the emphasis on fun while the benefits that come from the physical activity are a positive side effect.

Climbing Wall
Climbing Wall

For an extreme adventure, climb the 28 ft high rock wall at Peak. Five different routes including a waterfall and tree vines allow for different climbing experiences and levels. Peak uses an auto belay system that adjusts to the climber's weight for the safest climb. No spotter is needed, so everyone gets to enjoy climbing! Peak is available to kids and adults who are a miniumum of 40 lbs. and a maximum of 250 lbs. Helmets are mandatory and are provided by Peak. See SCHEDULES for available climbing times.

Peak Sports Club is home to the Paradise Cove Activity Pool along with its 4-lane Lap Pool.

Experience family fun at the Paradise Cove Activity pool.

Our 4-lane Lap Pool is available for water fitness as well as being used for instructional swimming.
